Our OROME Valar SK40D Wheelset Is Designed with A One-Piece Rim and Bladed Aero Spoke Construction. This Lightweight Wheelset, Weighs in At Just 1378g/Pair and Is Not Only Suitable for TT And Triathlons, But Also for Road and Gravel Use.

The Tubeless Ready SK40D Clincher Disc Wheelsets, Has A 40mm Deep Profile, 22mm Internal And 29mm External Widths Intended to Excel with Wider Road and Gravel Tires. Six Carbon Aero Spoke Design Offers Exceptional Aero Performance and Perfect Control in Crosswinds.

Our VALAR SK40D Wheelset Is Assembled with TPI Ceramic Bearings with A CNC Hub. The Freehub Driver Is Similar in Design to DT Swiss' Star Ratchet System. The Key Internal Technology in The Hub Is Designed to Deliver Exceptional Performance, With Easy Maintenance, Durability, Quick Engagement and High Load Capacity for Severe Riding Conditions with No Special Tools Required for Routine Maintenance. Our SK40D Disc Hubs Use High-Quality 6pcs TPI Ceramic Bearings. TPI Ceramic Bearings Help the Wheels to Roll Faster, Saving Precious Watts Whilst Allowing Faster Cruising Speeds. The Other Advantage of Ceramic Bearings Is Its Resistance to Corrosion Allowing Better Durable in Everyday Use. The SK40D Utilizes A Centre Lock Disc And 100mm X 12mm Through Axle In The Front With A 142mm X 12mm Through Axle In The Rear Wheel.

Elves warranties all OROME Valar carbon wheel set from manufacturer’s defects in materials and workmanship specifications from a limited period of 2-years from the date of purchase!

 

This warranty is only for the original wheel set owner and is not transferable! Unless otherwise stated, the sole remedy under this warranty or any implied warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of Elves. Elves will not be responsible for any direct, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability or any other theory. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear on parts in situations where there are no material defects. This warranty does not cover consumable components including brake pads, spokes, rim tapes, bearings, etc

Safety Tips

You need to regularly check the bicycle and wheels, and make some replacements if necessary to maintain a high performance. Please consult the manufacturer for specific instructions on servicing other components.


  • The OROME Valar carbon clincher wheel set uses clincher or wired-on tires(only).
  • When installing or removing your clincher tires, do not use metal tire levers.
  • The maximum inflation on this wheel set is 120psi and maximum inflation for tubeless tire is 100psi; Overinflation may damage the rim.
  • Use only carbon-specific brake pads; Wrong brake pads could damage your carbon rims.
  • Modifying the wheel set (including hubs, spokes, nipples or rims) in any way will void the manufacturer‘s warranty and may be unsafe.
